Biography
Jennifer Ruetten is co-owner (with her husband) of Copper Hall, a small event venue and office suites in Downtown Oshkosh and Technology Planners, a cable television consulting and engineering firm where she does the accounting. Both of which were created/acquired at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. Copper Hall started as an "I think this building could be a small event venue" idea to hosting 303 events in 2025. Some of her entrepreneurial duties include accounting, reservation management and automation, marketing, social media, website, and networking. Jennifer is a member of the Professional Women's Connection Oshkosh Chapter, Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Oshkosh BID MemberCo, and River East Neighborhood Association. She is an organizer for Northwest Wisconsin Gameapalooza which is a tabletop board game convention held annually in Oshkosh. She was heavily involved with PTO as her daughters moved through the OASD. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from UW Oshkosh and is a graduate of Leadership Oshkosh Class of 2024. Her day job is with Winnebago County for the last 27 years where she is currently the Director of Information Technology and part of several professional organizations.
