The evening will feature Mandy Kimes, Tenant Support Specialist with ADVOCAP, who will share information and real-life stories that reflect the current state of housing and homelessness in our local communities. Drawing from her work supporting individuals and families experiencing housing instability, Kimes will highlight the challenges many neighbors face and discuss how communities can come together to support one another through awareness, compassion, and action.
In addition to the presentation, a hygiene item donation drive will take place during the event. Donated items will be distributed to individuals in need, helping provide basic necessities while offering dignity and care to those facing difficult circumstances.
Registration is required and closes at noon on Tuesday, January 13. The cost to attend is $20 for Professional Women’s Connection members and $25 for guests, which includes dinner. A cash bar will be available. Registration and additional event details can be found at www.pwcwi.org.
The Professional Women’s Connection invites community members to join this important conversation and be part of an evening that fosters understanding, connection, and collective support for neighbors in need.
